Poltair School is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join the mathematics team as KS3 Mathematics Coordinator.

The Mathematics team consists of experienced and new teachers who work exceptionally well together and who embrace new initiatives to ensure all pupils make the very best progress.
The successful candidate will:
• Have very high expectations of all students at all times
• Be able to enthuse and motivate all students
• Understand the transition between KS2 to KS3 and have innovative and creative solutions to intervention
• Be able to forge strong links with the local primary schools
• Coach and lead members of the team to ensure the consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all KS3 pupils
• Be an excellent team player with a strong commitment to professional development and raising standards
• Be able to teach typically good or better Mathematics lesson to students in Years 7-11
