Job overview

We require an experienced and talented teacher of Maths to co-ordinate the KS3 curriculum. You will oversee the curriculum and assessment structure at KS3, track and monitor student progress and lead intervention programmes to support underachieving and vulnerable students within the department.

You will be a highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner who is able to inspire students. You should have a good understanding of the requirements for the new GCSE and be able to teach across all years and abilities.

We can offer a very strong and collaborative department, students who are keen to learn and enjoy Maths and a varied Maths curriculum that caters to all ability levels. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative teacher with a passion for their subject, looking to further develop their career.

Cardinal Newman Catholic High School is a mixed, non-selective, Roman Catholic, comprehensive secondary school, situated near Warrington in Cheshire. There are currently 815 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.
