Job overview

Workington Academy require an experienced Maths Teacher to teach across the 11-18 age range with a particular focus on post 16 teaching. Experience of teaching ‘A’ Level maths and the ability to teach further maths is essential. A TLR5 (£4189) is available for co-ordinating post 16 provision for a suitably qualified candidate.

Workington Academy has a history of strong recruitment and achievement at ‘A’ Level, with a healthy positive L3VA residual in Maths and Further Maths in 2018 and high numbers of students in the current Year 12 and Year 13.  This is an exciting time to join Workington Academy as we are part of a forward thinking and innovative Multi Academy Trust who are committed to cooperative and collaborative approaches. We invest in our staff with excellent CPD and by ensuring that they have every opportunity to grow and develop.
