Job overview
Workington Academy require an experienced Maths Teacher to teach across the 11-18 age range with a particular focus on post 16 teaching. Experience of teaching ‘A’ Level maths and the ability to teach further maths is essential. A TLR5 (£4189) is available for co-ordinating post 16 provision for a suitably qualified candidate.
Workington Academy has a history of strong recruitment and achievement at ‘A’ Level, with a healthy positive L3VA residual in Maths and Further Maths in 2018 and high numbers of students in the current Year 12 and Year 13.
