Moulsham High School has a strong record of academic success and has consistently been ranked as the highest performing non-selective secondary school in Essex. Behaviour is calm and the atmosphere is productive and positive, making it a nice place to be’ (Ofsted 2020).
We are looking for an outstanding, experienced English teacher whose passion for the subject inspires others to join our highly successful English faculty as KS5 Co-ordinator. G.C.S.E. and A level outcomes are consistently well above national averages. Ofsted 2020 described ‘teachers’ enthusiasm for English’ as ‘infectious.’ This vacancy occurs due to the promotion of the previous post holder.
The successful candidate will be required to teach English up to and including A level. He/she will also be accountable for the attainment and progress of all KS5 students and the quality of post-16 teaching and learning in English. This includes devising and implementing high quality schemes of work and resources.
