An exciting opportunity has arisen within the English Department for a KS5 English Lead. We seek to appoint a well-qualified and passionate leader who can enthuse both students and staff with an infectious love of English and literature. This is an exciting time to lead KS5 as our student numbers continue to grow for both our A Level English Literature course and our A Level English Lang/Lit Course.
The successful candidate will be joining one of the most exciting English departments in the country and have the opportunity to continue to develop professionally in a well led and supportive environment. The English department is committed to supporting students with their learning and continuous development.
Our academy is a learning community of outstanding teachers and staff who wish to make a positive difference to the young people we serve. This vacancy has arisen due to expansion of the College and progression within the department.
John Henry Newman Catholic College is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well as providing evidence of qualifications.
