The Prep School is looking for a lab technician to join the team on a part time (3.75 hours per day), fixed term basis for the academic year 2021/2022. This is a varied and exciting role, working in a busy science department. The successful candidate will be able to use their initiative to problem solve and have the ability to work independently. This is a term time plus role (term time plus 8 weeks during college holidays) and the rate of pay is pro rata to £18,557).

Clifton College Preparatory School (known locally as 'The Pre') is the region’s largest boarding and day preparatory school for 400 girls and boys aged 8 to 13. 

Bristol businessman Dr John Percival, who championed the benefits of science, diversity and the education of women, founded Clifton College in 1862. The college has since fostered the talents of students including General Douglas Haig and Olympic hockey gold medallist Lily Owsley. The NSPCC had its first meeting on the school’s grounds. 

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach at The Preparatory School, spanning Years 4–8. Each child is considered and treated as an individual with a unique profile of skills, passions, talents and undiscovered potential.
