Job overview

We are looking for a part time secondary laboratory technician to support our science teachers.  We are moving to new premises in September and are expanding year on year.  We are looking for someone who has the skills, qualifications and training to work alongside the science department as a technician.  The duties and responsibilities would include the following, prepare equipment and chemicals before lessons, maintain a bank of resources, liaise with teaching staff to discuss equipment requirements, maintain equipment to ensure it is safe to use, ensure equipment is properly cleaned and that chemicals and other materials are appropriately stored, to ensure that all health and safety procedures are understood and followed correctly.  Working well as part of a team is essential.

St George's School, Barcelona is a mixed, all-through school and sixth form for pupils aged between 2 and 18 years old.
