Job overview

Lacrosse is a main sport for girls at Claremont Fan Court School and has a growing reputation on a national level. Last year, the School came in the top eight for Year 8 and the top 16 for Year 9 in the national competition. We are looking to recruit a teacher in charge of lacrosse to help us to achieve our ambitions of winning the nationals in the near future.

The main focus of the role will be to provide strategic direction for the lacrosse programme and lead the coaching of lacrosse. In addition, the role teaches pupils the skills and content necessary that will enable them to achieve well and be confident with further study in this subject. There is potential for this to become a leadership role.

You will be either a qualified teacher with significant lacrosse experience or an experienced lacrosse coach or a successful lacrosse player who has a passion for lacrosse and a progressive vision. You must be a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated person capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents. A level 2 coaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

About Claremont Fan Court School

We are a co-educational School, for children from 2½ to 18 years, situated just outside Esher, Surrey. The School is set in the historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate.
