Kew Green Preparatory School is a non-selective independent school for boys and girls aged 4-11 years. The Head Teacher is a member of IAPS. In response to demand for places, KGPS was established in 2004 as a sister school to Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School, London W6 (Est.1991).

The school is owned and managed by London Preparatory Schools Ltd. The two shareholding Directors of LPS, Maria and Edward Gardener, are both from a teaching background.
The school is non-selective and takes pupils on a first come first served basis. Pupils usually go on to independent schools in the London area after attending KGPS for seven years.

Within this timescale we are able to allow children to develop at their own pace, providing a rich curriculum where Music, Art, Sport and the Humanities are given a full weighting with Maths, Science and English. We strive to inculcate in our pupils a proper self-esteem and respect for others. Physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually - our children develop and achieve their full potential in their time with us. This approach has invariably led to a high level of academic achievement.
