Job title: Language and Boarding Assistant, French or Spanish
Working Pattern: Term time

Salary: £13,491.55 total salary for the contract
We are looking to recruit two language Assistants, one Spanish speaking and one French speaking.
As a Language Assistants you will either assist the language teacher with the language classes, support small groups or work one to one with students. Your role will be to improve your students’ confidence in communicating in your language and help classes to become more interactive and fun by discussing contemporary aspects of youth culture in your country such as current affairs, education, sport, fashion, films, TV, lifestyles and celebrations.
The language assistant will be fluent or native speaker of French or Spanish and ideally have experience working with children and young people.
You will also play a key role in the boarding houses, this includes duties in the evenings and alternate weekends. Being parts of the Boarding House represents a key contribution to the pastoral system of the school. You will be encouraged to participate fully in the operation of the Boarding House, supporting the house wherever possible. If you choose to live on site or when you are staying overnight you will benefit from onsite accommodation, meals will be provided in the refectory and your will have access to an onsite laundry service.
