The Role

PLC invites interest from Latin / Classical Studies teaching experts who would embrace an opportunity to join our College community in 2023.

  • Full-time parental leave replacement role
  • Commencing at the start of Term 3 (Monday 10 July 2023)
  • Fixed Term 12-month contract

You will be joining one of Australia’s leading independent girls’ schools, as well as joining an accomplished, highly collaborative team of Classics Teachers who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students.


About You

  • You will be a qualified, experienced Latin Teacher who has successfully taught across Years 7-12 (VCE or IB teaching is highly regarded).
  • As an educator, you will bring passion and enthusiasm to your teaching and learning practice to nurture and develop our students’ love of learning.
  • We welcome applicants with experience either locally or abroad.

Our ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who will confidently guide, develop and nurture our students, whilst also understanding the need for strong classroom practice and the maintenance of high standards amongst our students.

  • The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
