Job overview

Required for a September 2018 start, you will be an inspirational teacher with the ability to teach throughout KS2 and KS3. Latin (including Classical Civilisation) will be your primary subject, although an ability to contribute to the teaching in other curriculum areas is essential. Latin is currently taught to all children in years 5 to 8, children are prepared for Common Entrance in year 8 and scholarship to a range of different schools. In year 7 and 8 there is some setting, and at present the school broadly follows the Cambridge course. There may be an opportunity to become a Form Tutor as part of this role. 

You must be passionate about teaching and learning, striving to help each child achieve - there are no limits to learning at our school. Teaching is innovative, dynamic and child-centred. Staff are flexible, adaptable and willing to take risks. 

The school encourages Continuous Professional Development and NQT Induction is available.

Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of experience.

Bishopsgate is a happy and successful school with approximately 360 children aged 3-13. Our site is beautiful, bordering Windsor Great Park and yet only 30 minutes by train from London.
