Job overview

Due to growing our student numbers we are building capacity in many subjects and have some amazing opportunities. This is an exciting time in our school journey as we have just received a ‘GOOD’ from Ofsted in December 2022, which we are incredibly proud of and have some great ideas of how we are going to embed further practice.

You will be pivotal in the science faculty, modelling excellent teaching and supporting the professional development of staff. Providing a medium for sharing and developing good practice amongst staff, you will be instrumental in shaping our vision and ensuring that learning and teaching is outstanding. As a School and Trust, we are committed to developing leaders at all levels and as such, this role is an exciting opportunity for a whole school responsibility that will play to your strengths.

Ambitious staff can thrive at Foxford where talent management threads through our ethos, vision and development plan. You will be a creative teacher, adept at teaching across all key stages. You will have ample opportunity to develop, refine and reflect on your teaching to hone your practice with access to enriched professional development through our internal leadership programmes.

We will play to your strengths and can offer you:

  • A range of benefits which include cycle to work, free parking, an employee discount scheme, a laptop/iPad.
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition.
  • Annual Learning & Teaching Conference for all Teaching Staff.

We are proud to be part of Castle Phoenix Trust. This facilitates an opportunity to play to your strengths and provide excellent collaboration between colleagues and leaders, access to effective CPD and the chance to develop professionally. The Trust is committed to invest in and develop all staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best. Our Trust values are really important to all of us and include Respect to All, From All, Innovation and Collaboration.
