Lead Hockey Coach

The role 

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious Hockey Coach to support the strategic planning and delivery of Emanuel School's high-quality hockey programme.

As Lead Hockey Coach, you will work closely with the Director of Hockey and other coaching staff to deliver an exceptional hockey programme that includes games lessons, practices, small group sessions, inter-school fixtures, and pre-season. You will provide support to our most talented hockey players, ensuring that all players have access to high-quality coaching sessions throughout the week. 

Alongside your hockey responsibilities, you will also play an active role in coaching other sports at Emanuel, including cricket, football or netball.

The hours for this role is 20 hours per week, however some additional out of term hours may be required, as part of our touring programme.

You will need an England Hockey Sessional Coach / FIH Level 2 or above (equivalent qualifications will also be accepted). Previous experience of coaching junior hockey in a school, club or pathway is essential. You will also possess excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
