Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Lead Invigilator to play a crucial role within King Henry School, providing additional support to the external and internal examinations process. In summary, the role involves working alongside the Exams Officer to oversee the day to day running of exams and coordinate a team of invigilators at different key points of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and readily available before and during main exam periods. They will also need to be confident in preparing and overseeing the smooth running of the exams as a whole, whilst resolving any issues and being the first port of call for the invigilators in the exam venues.

The post holder will be expected to enforce the rules and regulations set out the in the exams policy, JCQ and awarding body guidance. They will also be required to have a good knowledge of JCQ Instructions for Conducting Examinations.
