Job overview

A Lead Invigilator is required each year in May and June to support the Exams Administrator/Exams Officer on a sessional basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure that examinations run smoothly and that examination board regulations are observed at all times.

The successful candidate will have excellent time management, a commitment to confidentiality, high integrity, good communication skills and be able to work  flexible hours. No specific examination experience is necessary as full training will be provided during the Spring term. The ability to handle situations in a calm and logical manner is essential. Previous experience in an educational setting would be advantageous.  

We offer £10 - £12 per hour inclusive of holiday pay and excellent working conditions. Our pupils are polite and well behaved and the successful candidate will work with teaching staff to ensure that the exam process runs smoothly.

We are a co-educational School, for children from 2½ to 18 years, situated just outside Esher, Surrey. The School is set in the historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate.

The ISI Report January 2017 noted that: ‘Pupils show pride in their achievements in curricular and co-curricular activities . . . Parents and pupils agreed that these opportunities enhance pupil achievement’.
