Job overview

Lead Teacher Music (TLR 2B £4656)

Ideally situated for both Manchester and the stunning countryside of Saddleworth and the Pennines, the College is a very successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Academy within the Pinnacle Learning Trust.

Our most recent OFSTED Inspection graded the school as ‘good’ in all areas and our Progress 8 score always indicates that students make good or better progress.

We are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Music from September 2020 to establish a new area of the school, devise and implement the curriculum and help to shape the future direction of the subject.  This is a really exciting opportunity to build and leave a lasting legacy.

Should you wish to apply for the post, please complete the online TES application form and include up to two pages of supplementary information about what you would bring to the role based on your experience to date.

If you require more information, please contact Danielle Hunt, PA to the Principal, on 0161 770 8514 or by email dhu@hathershaw.org.uk

Closing Date/shortlisting: Friday 28th February 2020

Interviews: Week beginning 2nd March 2020

The Hathershaw College is responsible for safe recruitment and promotes the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
