Golborne High School is a thriving and popular school. We have the highest expectations of our pupils and are determined to become ‘outstanding’ in all that we do. Our vision is to become a beacon of excellence at the heart of the community.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Maths to join our Executive Leadership Group as a Lead Practitioner. You will support the Maths’ Leadership Team in a modelling and coaching capacity to ensure that an already successful faculty reaches its goal of ‘outstanding’.

Golborne is a rapidly improving and expanding school and this is an ideal opportunity to join a motivated and successful team. We are on an exciting journey having secured our best ever results and see this as a vital part of the school’s development over the next few years.

We are a self-improving school and our commitment is to developing and supporting all of our staff in their chosen career path. We deliver a comprehensive induction programme and encourage all of our staff to be ambitious for their futures. The role would suit professionals who have the drive and a determination to ensure that all children succeed. The successful applicants will also demonstrate an ambition to develop in their role and embrace the CPD that is available to support them in becoming an outstanding practitioner.

We are looking to appoint a colleague who has a proven track record of raising standards in Maths at both KS3 and KS4 who can demonstrate inspirational teaching and a passion for delivering lessons which are motivational, challenging and engaging. You will need to demonstrate the energy, enthusiasm and commitment to work as part of a team which is determined to achieve ‘outstanding’. In return you will work in an exceptional and supportive environment that will further develop your professional skills and ambitions.

We would welcome applications from experienced teachers with a strong and proven track record of success in public examinations. We would also welcome applications from colleagues at a relatively early stage of their career who have exceptional subject knowledge, strong leadership potential and a clear understanding of how to enable all students to make outstanding progress in their learning.
