Bushey Meads School has the ambition to become a centre of excellence with the capacity to be able to offer expertise and support to schools across the Multi Academy Trust currently of two schools, Bushey Meads School and Little Reddings Primary School. We want to develop, recruit and retain the highest calibre of staff who can work at the highest level and secure outstanding progress for our students.
The Lead Practitioner will join the Teaching and Learning Team led by the Deputy Headteacher i/c Teaching and Learning and will become a key leader within this team, currently consisting of members of the Extended Senior Leadership Team and Advanced Lead Teachers. This team plays a crucial role in the development of staff, ensuring that all students receive a good or better teaching and learning experience in every lesson across the school.
The role will focus on the development of teaching expertise particularly in Physics, but also across other curriculum areas as required and will be classroom based but without the requirement to take on specific curriculum management responsibilities.
All members of the Teaching and Learning Team are expected to continuously demonstrate high levels of personal competence which is evidenced in consistently good to outstanding outcomes.
