Lead Practitioner of Science

Required for September 2016. We are seeking to employ a well-qualified, energetic and enthusiastic Lead Practitioner of Science.

We are keen to receive applications from a Physics specialist, however, applications from an outstanding teacher of Biology or Chemistry are also welcome.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher joining a strong and supportive science department which delivers science to GCSE and A level. The Academy has an extremely supportive CPD programme for all staff and can appoint NQT’s.

This is an important time in the school’s development and the successful candidate will be a crucial member of the newly formed Leaders of Teaching and Learning team. We are looking for an ambitious individual who will be part of this active team that improves the quality of teaching and raises rates of student progress.
