Whitworth Park Academy is seeking applications from outstanding applicants to work in a modern, developing and rapidly improving school.  This is a school where you can really make a difference.  

Required for September 2019, or earlier, we are looking for an outstanding, driven and committed Lead Practitioner of Science who can help deliver the already good results and create an outstanding department.  The successful applicant will be innovative, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes, have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge. 

We are looking for an inspirational and passionate individual who demonstrates the energy and commitment needed to be a truly outstanding teacher.  The successful candidate will be required to teach across the full age and ability range.

If you believe you are the person we are looking for you will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent subject knowledge

• A true passion for your subject

• The expertise to deliver deep learning; learning beyond the exam question 

• Experience in using and interpreting data effectively

• The motivation, drive and determination to succeed
