We are looking for an outstanding Lead Practitioner to develop and implement teaching and learning initiatives and strategies throughout Science and across the Academy. This role will be expected to raise the quality of teaching practice of all members of staff and therefore raise student standards and progress. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all Key stages within Science.

We are happy to accept applications from candidates who can demonstrate the required skills and potential to fulfil the role as well as candidates with proven experience. The ideal candidate will have the vision, creativity and drive to enhance the development of our science curriculum and teaching. In return you will have the full support of the Academy and department leadership teams.

All Saints’ Academy Cheltenham is a mainstream secondary state school with sixth-form, catering for pupils aged 11-19. The school opened in September 2011 and is a Church of England academy for the whole community, welcoming children of all faiths and none.

It is sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester. All Saints’ Academy Cheltenham offers 900 places for pupils aged 11-16, and 220 places for sixth-formers who wish to study both academic and vocational courses.
