Lea Valley is an 11-19 academy with 1200 students on roll.  Lea Valley Academy is a member of Edmonton Academy Trust.  

We are seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and committed Lead Practitioner to join our successful and ambitious school to provide effective leadership and management as a Lead Practitioner and thereby play a key role in raising teaching and learning standards through the quality of your own teaching and supporting the professional development of colleagues as we work towards becoming an outstanding school.  

 The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate consistently high-quality teaching, in-depth curriculum knowledge and a commitment to the professional development of themselves and others.  We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised colleague who is able to think strategically and who will have a proven track record of raising attainment. In return, we offer you the chance to make a vital contribution to the development and growth of our new teachers as well as contributing to our successful and innovative CPDL programme which all members of teaching staff are enrolled on.

Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
