We are looking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious science practitioner, with a passion for teaching and learning for the post of Lead Practitioner - teaching and learning at St John Plessington Catholic College, the founding school of the Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust.

We have been an outstanding and oversubscribed 11-18 College for more than 10 years, having been judged Outstanding in every category by Ofsted.

We have been a National Teaching School since 2014, which offers unique career development opportunities for our staff.

The school has an excellent reputation locally and nationally, we have received numerous awards including Times Educational Supplement (TES) “Outstanding Secondary School of the Year”.

Our most recent Progress 8 score places us in the top 5% in the country. To maintain this progress, we are seeking a highly motivated, committed and strategic leader in science, who is dedicated to our vision of working collaboratively to deliver results ensuring that all pupils reach their full potential.
