Our standards are high and we pride ourselves on our ability to inspire and excite all our pupils to exceed their potential.

The progress students make in maths is significantly above the national average and it is our commitment to continue to improve this. In our pursuit to produce excellent mathematicians all students at MCA receive daily maths lessons.

All our teachers are experts in their field who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to professional development. You will be a part of a department who embrace the latest developments in mathematics teaching and our detailed programme of weekly staff CPD will support you to deliver the highest quality of education. Our collaborative approach to curriculum development ensures that we have a collective focus on continuous improvement.

We are incredibly proud of our students and staff who love the challenge of learning, are equipped to achieve their dreams and take pride in their success. If you would like to be a part of this, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.

We are aware of commitments you will have made to your school and the children therefore we can be flexible on start dates for the right candidate.

Please apply for the post by completing the TES online application form, which should include a supporting statement of no more than 2 sides of A4 (minimum font size 10) explaining, with examples, how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification.

The closing date for applications is 9am Monday 5th December 2022.

Interviews will be held soon after the closing date.

If I’m still interested, what should I do next?

We think that applying for a new role should always be seen as a 2-way process, you have to be right for us, but the school also has to be right for you. So if you are interested in applying, please do feel free to get in touch to discuss the role.

Manchester Communication Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure for a Regulated Activity via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
