Rhyddings Business & Enterprise School are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, qualified teacher of Maths to lead the department.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is both creative and challenging in their teaching. They will be passionate and committed to ensuring students maximise their potential and achievement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across our whole 11-16 age range and ability range and shape the future of the subject within the school.

The school is in a period of transition, quite literally with a planned capital building programme. Uniquely, whilst this is taking place the school will be temporarily off-site for the academic 2019-2020 and into 2021 to allow this work to take place. During this period, we will have sole use of the vacant Hameldon College site, Coal Clough Lane, Burnley – an impressive BSF multi million pound campus with state of the art facilities.

Rhyddings Business & Enterprise School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  Any appointment will be made subject to a clear, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

If you would like to arrange a visit to the school or speak to someone regarding the post please contact us on 01282 683040 or email the Headteacher’s PA, Mrs Worthington at worthingtong@rhyddings.co.uk, and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
