Tes is supporting the appointment of a highly experienced and motivated Lead Teacher for Early Years in the British Curriculum to join a team based in Nigeria. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum, tailored to the needs of the Early Years students
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources to promote active learning and facilitate student progress
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities and events
- Lead a team of teachers and support staff, providing guidance, support, and direction as required
- Participate in professional development activities and keep up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience teaching the British Curriculum at the Early Years level, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience working with Early Years students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
