Nexus is located in Putrajaya, near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor’s Education Group, we currently enrol 700 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IEYC, IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. As well as leading the Primary Languages Other Than English (LOTE) department and working closely alongside the Head of LOTE (secondary), you will be expected to teach Mandarin across the school. The department follows the IGCSE and IB curricula in the secondary school. Experience of teaching IGCSE and knowledge of the IB programme will be advantageous. Mandarin is offered throughout secondary at both first language and foreign-language level. You will also be involved in teaching Mandarin to our primary learners who begin from Year 1.
