A well-qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher for Vision Impairment is required for a permanent position.
The thriving VI Specialist Centre comprises four full-time members of staff and offers provision for children and young people with visual impairment across all key stages.
The successful candidate will be someone who can, ideally, teach across the full age and ability range and be prepared to take part/lead educational trips and provide support for extra-curricular activities.
George Abbot School is a large 11-18, mixed comprehensive, situated on the north side of Guildford, within easy reach of the town, the A3 and London Road railway station. It is a forward looking and dynamic school which has a reputation for excellence in every area. George Abbot became an Academy on 1 July 2011 and went on to be a founding member of the GEP multi academy trust. We also have Teaching School status.
