We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified, ambitious and talented Lead Teacher in Mathematics to play a key role in the Mathematics Department’s improvement journey by providing additional leadership capacity. A passion for Mathematics and a strong commitment to developing young Mathematicians who are invested in achieving their potential is essential.

  • Be a team player and work closely with other leaders in Mathematics to develop and implement effective strategies and processes of departmental improvement

Sir Thomas Wharton Academy is a good secondary school of over 1100 students with a thriving and growing collaborative Post 16 provision. The Academy joined Maltby Learning Trust on 1st April 2017 and secured an OFSTED Good judgement in September 2021. We are now oversubscribed each year and we are very fortunate to be housed in a new building with state-of-the-art facilities.
