Darton Academy are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Maths to join our academy in September 2021 on a full time, permanent basis. You will provide pedagogic leadership as an outstanding classroom practitioner, playing a key part in raising standards through the model of your own excellent teaching and by supporting the professional development of your colleagues. The ultimate aim will be to improve the learning experience and increase the outcomes of students, whatever their ability.

Salary:  Leadership range L5 – L9 (£46,566 - £51,402).

Darton Academy is now the highest performing secondary school in Barnsley for Progress 8.  We are a happy and vibrant school which serves the communities of Darton, Kexborough and surrounding areas.  We are within easy reach of Leeds, Wakefield and Sheffield, as the academy is located minutes from J38 of the M1.
