Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lead Teacher of Science to assist the Head of Faculty with the department’s improvement journey. The right candidate will be an exceptional teacher of Science with a commitment to academic excellence and inspiring a love of Science in young people. They will play a pivotal role in securing the very best outcomes for the faculty. We are looking for someone who will be significantly involved in providing an enriched curriculum and opportunities to stretch and challenge all students.

The faculty achieved very strong outcomes in summer 2019 and the new Lead Teacher will be actively involved in building upon this success.

School leaders, including governors, have an accurate understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development. They are determined to continue improving opportunities for pupils. Senior leaders have taken effective measures to improve levels of literacy. Teachers provide pupils with opportunities to develop their speaking skills and practise their use of standard English.”
