We have a vibrant and successful Science Department which delivers a curriculum that is engaging, accessible and challenging for all. It is a real strength of the school with a culture of high academic achievement and a nurturing environment in which students can thrive. 

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated science teacher to lead on delivering high quality learning experiences for all pupils, with a specific focus on raising aspirations and standards for pupils in receipt of pupil premium. This role is ideal for an experienced leader or an enthusiastic teacher looking to take their first steps in to leadership.

  • be passionate about science and increasing student progression in to scientific careers

  • have the ability to teach across all science specialisms up to KS4
  • have secure knowledge of assessment and how to use assessment effectively to inform teaching and learning.
