Lead Teacher of the Deaf (Hearing Impaired Service, Town Hall and Civic Offices)

We are looking for an outstanding Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to lead the Hearing-Impaired Service in South Tyneside.

You will be passionate about Deaf Education with a sound understanding of SEN and disability from birth to 25. You will have the skills to challenge, motivate and inspire your team as well as mainstream teachers, parents/carers and other professionals.

You will have extensive experience of teaching deaf children and young people from birth to 25 and have a clear vision of how to secure good outcomes for deaf children now and in the future.
