Job overview

  • Are you a truly outstanding practitioner?
  • Would you like to progress in your career, but stay in the classroom?
  • Could you use your passion for teaching to support and develop the practice of colleagues?
  • Are you "up for the challenge" of creating a beacon of excellence within Seva's science department?

If so, this could be the role for you!

Seva School is a growing school, with exciting rebuild and renovation plans afoot. However, even when at full capacity (1020 students from reception to year 11), we will retain our "family feel", with each student known and cared for.

Our all through school has endless potential in terms of transition, peer mentoring, cross phase planning and mixed age enrichment. Covid has limited much of this in recent years, but we're determined to get this back in place as soon as possible.

As a Sikh faith school, we are passionate about the spiritual development of our students, not just academic excellence - you do not have to be Sikh to work at Seva, in fact, we welcome colleagues of all faiths and none. You do, however, have to be passionate about helping youngsters realise their potential and be prepared to go "the extra mile" for each and every one of them.
