Applications are invited for the following vacancy at a reputable Catholic school, located in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. About the Role:

  • Advise the Principal/Assistant Principal of support needs, professional learning requirements of staff and strategies to learners at their point of need.
  • Oversee the provision of learning support, literacy and numeracy, and learning enrichment from Stages 4-6.
  • Oversee the processes relevant to diverse learning administration, documentation, record keeping, standardised testing and application of processes with the College and CEDP requirements.
  • Lead the team of diversity teachers/support staff
  • Lead staff in ensuring appropriate learning adjustments, support plans and programs are implemented and monitored to enable learners to meet their learning needs.
  • Work in conjunction with House Coordinators, Leaders of Learning, the college counsellor, CEDP wellbeing team members and family liaison officers to ensure student support plans are holistic and cover learning and wellbeing needs of students.
  • Manage NCCD procedures

Selection Criteria:

  • Be suitably qualified with an Education Teaching Degree (qualification must be recognised in Australia)
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NESA and WWCC
  • Ability to provide current and relevant teaching references from Middle Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval, and all applications are treated in complete confidentiality)
  • Have the right to work in Australia
