LEADER OF GEOGRAPHY
FULL-TIME, PERMANENT CONTRACT
Starting 1st September 2018, we are looking to appoint a highly committed and inspirational teacher to lead geography within the Humanities Faculty. The post will suit an outstanding practitioner looking for leadership opportunities and challenges.
The successful applicant will be:
• an experienced and innovative classroom teacher of geography to A level standard
• an individual equipped to inspire and motivate both students and staff to achieve to their potential
• a flexible leader who is committed to cross curricular activity and extra-curricular learning opportunities
• a colleague committed to making geography one of the outstanding subject areas in the school.
The John of Gaunt School is a fully comprehensive Academy for students from the ages of 11 – 18 years with approximately 1070 students on roll. We are currently a single Academy and actively promote collaboration with our feeder primary schools through Collaborative Schools Ltd and the West Wiltshire Alliance.
Visits to the school are encouraged.
