We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Leader of Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to lead an exciting and dynamic department. We offer A Level Psychology using the AQA syllabus and student uptake numbers are high. An ability to teach Science or Mathematics is an advantage, but not essential.

The person we are seeking will be:

  • passionate about Psychology and have the desire to share that passion with students
  • an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher
  • able to work collaboratively in a dynamic subject team, as well as within the larger Science Faculty
  • reflective and eager to develop their teaching skills.

Little Heath School is a highly successful comprehensive school (1650 on roll, including 380 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links. As a school, we pride ourselves on our strong Professional Development programme, believing that teachers need to be able to develop their own practice collaboratively with others.
