Leader of Secondary Phase

Our new and thriving International School requires a Leader of Secondary Phase August 2017

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to take our growing secondary phase forward within our established whole-school educational philosophy.

Requirements:

• Commitment to the school’s key values;
• Experience of leadership within KS3/4;
• Enthusiasm, drive and passion for development of a holistic student experience;
• Inspirational, creative teaching (initially the post will have a substantial teaching commitment).

HHIS has been open for a year and is expanding rapidly. 30% of our 130 students are Year 7/8 and this section of our school will continue to develop as we plan the launch of our IGCSE courses in August 2018 and the IBDP programme two years later.

I should say that anyone interested in applying for this position will need to demonstrate a very clear personal understanding of our philosophy and how it can underpin the whole of our Secondary programme. Everything that happens in the school rests on a consistent and shared set of educational values and we will expect the Secondary phase to further embed this approach across all areas.
