We have an exciting vacancy for a dynamic Associate Leader for Science to join the Extended Leadership Team at The Victory Academy.

 

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of successfully leading change management as well as utilising their leadership qualities to build and motivate a team. They will be dynamic, approachable and be able to demonstrate impact. 

 

As an Associate Leader you will share responsibility for senior leadership and management for the Academy, ensuring continual improvement and high quality, engaging and fulfilling education for all students that leads to excellent outcomes. 

 

Other responsibilities include assisting in the promotion of high standards of behaviour and conduct within the Academy and to provide support for colleagues through the enactment of Academy policy and procedure. Supporting colleagues as directed in all aspects of learning, personal development and emotional literacy both within classrooms and in other defined learning environments. 

 

The Associate Leader for Science will lead the Science Department as well as lead whole school initiatives.

The Victory Academy is part of The Thinking Schools Academy Trust. Your new role:

  •  Experience of successfully leading change management
  • Ability to utilise leadership qualities effectively
  • Effectively build, lead and motivate a team
  • Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • A qualified Science teacher with knowledge of present curriculum developments
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
