About the role:

The successful candidate be responsible for providing high quality initial learner advice and support to facilitate the admissions process, and ensure timely access for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and medical conditions to the support service, you also will provide other forms of direct support to learners with complex needs. You will also facilitate the referral process centrally and to cascade to the appropriate service/Centre in a timely manner through the College system, ProMonitor etc. You will also provide administrative support to the Inclusive Learning Managers.

About you:

You will be Qualified to Level 3 and above, with experience in administration, multi-tasking and excellent ICT skills, such as Excel, Word, and using different databases. Experience of providing advice and guidance to SEN learners, both on a one-to-one basis and via working with other staff and organisations.

Strong experience of working successfully with young people or adults with SEN or medical conditions in an advice, support or mentoring role. Also you must have a strong interest in implementing access arrangements in examinations.
