Hatch End High School is a high performing arts Academy in Harrow. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Resource Centre Manager to ensure the library is used to its full potential, and provide support to pupils and staff in accessing the library facilities and resources.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school, preferably in a library environment, and will be passionate about promoting the pleasure and enjoyment to be gained from literature and knowledge. Strong computer skills are essential and training will be provided on our library system, Oliver.

This is an exciting time to join Hatch End as we are undergoing a multi-million pound rebuild programme which will deliver a brand new library for the school. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of this new resource.

The role is advertised as 36 hours pw, to cover the library hours of 8:30am to 4:15pm (4:00pm Friday), however the school is willing to offer additional hours to enable longer opening hours. The school is also open to consider a job share arrangement.

Hatch End High School is a highly successful multi-cultural Academy located in Harrow, London.

Sixth-form facilities were opened on the site in 2010 and a brand new rebuild in 2019. The school currently has approximately 1,250 students aged 11-18, including 270 in the Sixth Form.
