This is an exciting opportunity for staff to be an integral part of the College's new approach to curriculum and team management.
We are now seeking to appoint a Learning and Skills Lead for Career Colleges and are keen to hear from people with the drive and determination to succeed. The LSL will work closely with the Heads of Learning and Skills – Career College & International and will be a central part of the ambitious plans to drive quality improvements in our education delivery. We expect this to be a challenging, but fulfilling role, with the LSL often the critical interface between academic staff and curriculum leadership. The successful candidate will need to show they can successfully balance competing demands for their time, such as curriculum development, staff and team management and also a teaching workload. We are looking for someone with the passion to drive success in our new Career Colleges.
You will possess a Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent, or the ability and willingness to obtain a level 4 professional teaching qualification within 1 year of commencing employment. In addition, you will have possession of an appropriate degree or professional qualification linked to training in a military setting. You will have the ability to demonstrate strong record of performance and success of teaching in the curriculum area and have recent successful experience of curriculum delivery, coordination/management & development within the curriculum area particularly in relation to improving success rates and teaching and learning.
