Join Hovingham Primary, Leeds, to inspire our children to ‘aim high’. We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative Learning & Teaching Assistants to join our team.
We are a large primary school (3 & 4 form entry) based in Harehills and we're lucky enough to serve the children that make Leeds a diverse metropolis of language and culture. The Learning & Teaching Assistant role is a fundamental part of our team structure where you can really make an impact on children’s lives by supporting their learning. This will involve carrying out a range of interventions particularly around communication, language and literacy and maths as well as supporting children to develop their personal skills. Furthermore, based within a team (KS1 or KS2) you will assist the class teacher in a range of activities from supporting with early identification of children’s needs, preparation of equipment and resources, managing behaviour as well as assisting in after school clubs.
