Job overview

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic educator with the ability to lead others in the area of Health and Physical Education.

This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment, with an initial one-year appointment as Middle Leader to complete the current triennium.

Two subsequent three-year appointments as Middle Leader will be offered following a successful performance review.

This Tier 3 role is an integral member of the Learning & Teaching Leader group and College Middle Leadership Team.

The ability to teach Religious Education would be advantageous.

  • appropriate qualifications and experience,
  • effective communication skills,
  • an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents,
  • an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and
  • a clear understanding of curriculum.

Working at BCE our teachers are required to:

  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education

 

Commensurate with experience: $96,197 - $130,752 per annum + up to 12.75% Super
