About the role:

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional Learning Area Manager for Supported Learning to be responsible for the management of the Learning Area. You will lead on teaching and learning, assessments and the implementation of the aims and objectives of the College Strategic Plan. This includes managing the work placements in Supported Learning inside and outside the academic year and developing links with schools, including the management of taster and holiday classes for 14-16’s outside of the academic year. You will also teach assigned classes and administer classes, groups and courses.

About you:

With degree or equivalent and a teacher status, you will have a successful employment history in the Supported Learning sector or substantial vocational experience. You will have experience of quality assurance processes including the undertaking of developmental lesson observations as well as graded observations. You will have a commitment to professional development and implementation of this within a Learning Area.
