The role:

Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will promote development and learning, and will help to ensure full participation. 

For the remainder of this academic year you will be supporting a year 6 pupil with social and emotional needs on a one to one basis, however your duties may vary year on year depending on the needs of the pupils.

About you:

You should:

  • have a range of behaviour management methods and be able to adapt;
  • have the ability to work in small groups;
  • possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be      able to liaise effectively with parent/carers and outside agencies;
  • be able to build a relationship with pupils in order to support one      to one working;
  • be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and      behaviour.

Previous experience of working in a similar role with children with social and emotional needs would be advantageous.

The role is for 31.25 hours a week, term time only therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
