Job overview

We are looking for a Learning Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming school to support the expansion of our nursery. A can do approach and flexibility are attributes we are looking for. The successful candidate would ideally hold a level 3 qualification in EYFS, however, this is desirable, not essential, so whatever your level of experience please use the supporting statement on the application form to show us how your skills match against our Job description and Person Specification and what you can bring to the role.

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate person who is prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and will be committed to supporting children to achieve the very best they can through an engaging, creative curriculum.

At the GLF Banbury Cluster of Schools (William Morris, Longford Park, Hardwick and Cherry Fields) you will be supported by a leadership team judged Outstanding by OFSTED.

• Pro-rata (actual) Starting Salary: £14,989 - £17,227 depending on experience

• Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm (32.5 hours/week), 39 weeks per year (term time +1)

Welcome to William Morris Primary School, the very first GLF Academy in Oxfordshire.

Our school caters for around 180 children including a Foundation Stage Unit which takes children from after their third birthday on a part time basis. Children are offered full time places after their fourth birthday.
