Are you an Outstanding Learning Assistant with experience of working in Reception?


We are very excited to announce that Kilnwood Vale Primary School will be opening in September 2019.


Due to our exciting development, we are now looking for an outstanding Learning Assistant to work in Reception in our brand new team, whilst being supported by GLF Schools. 


At Kilnwood Vale Primary School, we will pride ourselves on the relationships we have with our children, ensuring all children are known, valued and their individual needs recognised and met. We will carefully consider what knowledge and skills children will need to know in order to be successful in an ever-changing future and we will have high academic aspirations for all our children.


The individual will need to have proven experience working within Reception and have the passion and enthusiasm for children and their learning. The successful candidate will support the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and exceptional education of the children. SEN experience would also be an asset.


The successful candidate will also need to be able to work collaboratively and flexibly within our team, build good working relationships with both children and adults and demonstrate a respectful and caring attitude towards all our children, ensuring children learn in a safe, caring environment.

Hours: 36 hours a week

We are a brand new two form entry primary school which opened its doors to reception and nursery children for the first time in September 2019. Each year the school will increase its age range, adding an additional year group until it is an all through primary school in 2026.

We are proud of our school and the amazing facilities, inside and outside the classroom that will allow us to deliver our exciting and enriching curriculum.

We are happy to be a Free School within GLF Schools Multi Academy Trust, which sees us benefit from sharing outstanding resources, facilities and support from local primary and secondary schools since October 2010.
