Scale 5, points 12-17 (£18,900 - £21,163 actual salary)
Term time only + 5 days, 23.5 hours per week
We are looking for a Learning Supervisor to provide stability and continuity for students whose lessons are affected through short-term teaching staff absence and to provide support to teaching staff and students within a Faculty.
The essential attributes are:
- Common sense and a desire to see young people learn;
- The ability to relate to young people;
- A commitment to professional development;
- The self-confidence to support students in a classroom environment on your own;
- Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with school experience and without a degree qualification to progress and work with students in the classroom. As with all aspects of the job there will be a comprehensive training programme.

Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Worcestershire, serving students from the age of 13-18. The secondary school, situated in Redditch has approximately 934 students on record.
Formerly Redditch County High School, the school opened in 1932, being renamed to Abbey High School in 1974 when it changed from a grammar to a comprehensive school. The school reopened as Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre in 2001, and in the same same year converted to academy status. It was identified as good by Ofsted in 2015.
